My dragon
My dragon’s fire is as hot as boiling acid,
His body is as green as a leaf,
His sharp spikes are as pointy as needles,
His eyes are like glowing pools of lava,
He flies as fast as an eagle swooping down to catch his prey,
His tail is as bony as a skeleton,
That’s my dragon.
A simile poem by Cameron.
Thanks for sharing your super dragon poem Cameron. I'm excited to see how much your writing has developed. The wonderful use of similes really brings him to life for me. I particularly like him 'flying as fast as an eagle,' I wonder if you had pictures of Dragon Boy in your head as you wrote. I certainly have them in mine as I read.
